Hey All,
Hope Friday is finding you all well. I just double checked as I wanted to make sure of things and it looks like our man Jesse is still on for next Tuesday's show of Regis and Kelly. YAY! 
Re: the heads up: you're welcome Lynne and welcome back Pretty Black. Sorry to hear you were having a tough time but do hope things are on the upswing for you now! 
Next episode should be interesting as it offers a little of the character Phillip's back story as he has to deal with his brother with whom he doesn't have the greatest relationship.

Thanks Coverjesse and Gwynfair! I am doing great now...just trials come and go, you know everything is good now. Being about to see JLM every Wednesday night is like old Law & Order days and I'm loving it!

Hi All,
Wednesday is the last episode of the original 8 of the Philanthropist. I was visiting the site and just realized it.(Guess I'd lost track) With JLM being on Regis and Kelly tomorrow I guess we'll find out the fate of the series. Do hope it's positive!
Pretty Black you are so right in saying that having JLM on TV every week is like being back on L and O! It's great and I really like his character on this show.

Yeah know what you mean but like I said before hope it's not the end of the series. I haven't heard anything but it doesn't look like it's on next week? So I don't know?

Hey Ladies -
Was that the finale last nite? I noticed too that they didn't give previews for next week. It sure was a good one - full of Jesse. Let's hope that NBC continues the series, but it's a big secret - haven't heard a word about it either. They should at least give it a try in the fall when, do you think, more people watch tv? It certainly is better than some of the shows NBC has had on,

Agreed with you dec18th. Definitely better than alot of shows that are on there. However, it is strange that no one is talking about it. Apparently he was supposedly going to talk about the show on Tues. on Regis and Kelly but apparently didn't(I didn't see it but that's what I heard).
I guess we'll find out at some point but hope it's soon.

I don't think it will be on this week last week was the final season, so we have to wait to see if it will come back next year.

Actually he did talk about the premise of the show and they showed a preview of the last episode but there was no discussion of the future of the show.
In a related note, anyone who may have missed episodes of The Philanthropist can watch the complete episodes until September 20, 2009 at http://www.hulu.com/the-philanthropist.

Hi All,
Just wanted you to know that there is a group on Facebook for the Philanthropist. One of the older posts gives an address and name of the person to write to at NBC if you want to in order to let them know if you want to keep the Philanthropist on the air.
